Bankruptcy Update

Congress recently enacted sweeping reforms to our bankruptcy laws. The new Bankruptcy Code amendments take affect on October 18, 2005. Here are some links that explain the amendments. The bottom line is that it will be harder for an individual to discharge his or her debts under the new law. If you are thinking about filing bankruptcy, be sure to speak with a bankruptcy attorney as soon as possible so that you may file under the existing law.
