Return a new vehicle
My question has to do with the return of a new motorcycle. It is only one day ol d and has been driven about ten miles. Isn't there a Texas law saying that I ha ve three days to return the bike? How do I use this law? | |
As a general rule, when you sign a contract to buy something you are bound by th e terms of that contract. There is no time limit within which you may just "chan ge your mind." In most cases, to get out of a contract, you must show that you w ere induced into the contract by fraud, duress, deceit or misrepresentation. The re are a few exceptions to this rule. For example, the law gives you the right t o change your mind when you sign a contract with a door-to-door salesman, a heal th club, a timeshare company, or one that places a lien on your home. There is n o law, however, that applies to motorcycles |
